The contemporary patterns of rural settlements consist of mainly the buildings raised in the early 20th c. Being excellent examples of master masonry, these houses are the core of rural settlements. Architectural detail plays an extremely important role in their visual perception. Our analysis comprised the regional architecture in the rural commune of Ostróda. Eight villages were selected for detailed analysis. The study was performed in September 2011, and included the villages of Brzydowo, Durąg, Lichtajny, Lipowo, Ornowo, Reszki, Turznica and Tyrowo. When documenting the architectural detail, the following received particular attention: roofs, windows, doors and exterior wall finish. The exterior walls of existing buildings are often plastered or covered with wall siding. The window and door frames are often replaced, which alters to the original openings. When the original roofing is changed, the visual quality of a whole building may suffer. The ornamental detail is removed or covered. !n contemporary designs of houses, architectural detail is treated as of marginal importance and exterior wall design is extremely simplified.

Construction of technical infrastructure and divisions of real estate as a rule cause an increase of real estate value. The size of its increase depends on many factors. The aim of this article is an attempt at determining these factors and a size of accession of property basing on an example of Słupsk commune located in Pomerania district. Research concerns years 2006-2010. !n this article the author does research on the accession of property due to division of real estate and construction of technical infrastructure and analyzes only these factors whose impact was possible to determine basing on data received from the Słupsk commune's office. The author takes into account: location, functions in local master plan, standard of technical infrastructure, property size, number of properties after division. The research area do not contain properties that in local master plan were located on grounds destined to agricultural or forest purposes or for lack of such a plan were used in agricultural or forest purposes.

A main aim of the study was the analysis of the method of assessment of the state of the spatial order of grounds used to the hiking-bicycle tourism and the verification of the method on the chosen example. Within the framework of detailed tasks on the basis of inquiry research there were separated elements of the space, essential for the hiking-bicycle tourism. Then, they were called indicators of the assessment of the state of the spatial order. For these indicators there were worked out their measures, giving the punctual scale permitting to differentiate: the state, the kind of the farm implements and the location of assessed element. The realization of the last detailed task consisted in the settlement of rules of assessment of the state of the spatial order. The worked out method was verified on the chosen research object.

A main aim was to elaborate of the method of the evaluation of the state of the spatial harmony of grounds of the farm-stead building together with the verification of the method on the chosen example. The introduced method of the evaluation of the state of the spatial harmony of grounds of the farm-stead building lets on the evaluation of the level of the farm implements of the space in the aspect of the spatial harmony of individual farm-stead lots as well as their conglomerates. Results of carried out evaluation are helpful in the decision making during revitalization works of grounds of settlement individuals and on the stage of planning-based and project works.
