TitleA QUANTIFIABLE EVALUATION OF THE EFFECT OF LAND CONSOLIDATION ON THE SPATIAL PATTERN OF AGRICULTURAL LAND USE
AutorStefan Mielewczyk
Pages5–16
Keywordsland consolidation, results of land consolidation of agricultural farmland, spatial distribution of land, land use pattern
AbstractShow abstract
This paper describes the effects of consolidation of agricultural lands on efficient land use patterns based on the costs associated with the spatial pattern of the agricultural land use. The results were analyzed on the basis of a quantifiable assessment of reallocating agricultural fields for one cadastral district to improve the land use patterns. The net effect is the difference between the sum of the increases in agricultural costs from the spatial distribution of the land with inefficient land use patterns before land consolidation and the sum of the increases in costs after land consolidation.

TitleANALYSIS OF THE EXISTING AGRICULTURAL ROAD NETWORK OF A VILLAGE PRIOR TO UNDERGOING LAND CONSOLIDATION
AutorJoanna Jaroszewicz, Wioleta Radziszewska
Pages17–34
Keywordsland consolidation, agricultural road network, spatial structure of agricultural land, GIS
AbstractShow abstract
Roads are the main element of the technical infrastructure necessary for the daily operation of agricultural farms. Farm roads are not only structural elements which enable transportation between local economic centres and agricultural fields, but they are also important in shaping the spatial organization of farmland and the rural landscape. This article presents an evaluation of the agricultural road network in the village of Kamianki in the Grodzisk district, which underwent land consolidation from 2007 to 2008. An inventory of the study area was conducted, and the following were determined: the distances between agricultural land and residential dwellings, the road density index, the road extension index, and the road network density as indicated by the centrographic method. The analysis and presentation of the results was done using the ArcGIS ESRI geographical information system.

TitleDELIMITATION OF PROPERTIES WITH SURFACE WATER IN THE CASE LAW OF ADMINISTRATIVE COURTS
AutorMarcin Sobota
Pages35–44
Keywordsdemarcation of real estate, jurisprudence, coastline, surface water, water law
AbstractShow abstract
An analysis was conducted of the current jurisprudence from administrative courts on the issues involved in the delimitation of real estate with surface water. Cases were analyzed from the ruling Regional Administrative Courts and the Supreme Administrative Court. Particular emphasis was placed on administration cases to determine a shoreline, as well as the various activities undertaken which required a knowledge of geodesy, hydrology and law. The judicial interretations are presented with the supporting arguments of the proposed solutions and the critical evaluations done applying the principal of de lege ferenda.
