AbstractShow abstract
Featured computer simulation modeling system of process membrane filtration cooling oil emulsion cooling guided program Matlab®. The computer simulation was carried out in Simulink. Logic verification result showed that proposed control system is working correct. The computer simulation was carried out in Matlab®-Simulink. It was shown the using fuzzy logic in control parameters of the cow filtration process. The automatic control system for the system filtration oil emulsion will allow for control of technological processes and maintenance. It was made the analysis and selection control parameters.

TitleEffect of laser stimulation on cropping yield of alfalfa and hybrid alfalfa studied in sowing year
AutorMarek Ćwintal, Agata Dziwulska, Mieczysław Wilczek
Pages13–21
Keywordslaser stimulation, yield, lucerne seeds
AbstractShow abstract
The seeds of alfalfa cv Legend as well as hybrid alfalfa cv Radius have been irradiated with divergent He-Ne laser beam directly prior sowing. In the field experiment a different varieties of lucerne as well as the six different energy doses of the divergend laser beams as compared to control were consideced. The field experiments have been done in Spiczyn administrative district łęczyński by using the method of the land random square (20 m2) and four repetitions. The following parametes have been estimated from field experiments: germination ability, growing pattern per 1 m2, a number of shoots of lucerne, dry matter of single shoot, cropping yields of green and dry matter, the percentage of leaves in dry matter. The laser irradiation resulted in the growth of the germination ability, number of shoots per 1 m2 and the yields of green and dry matter.

TitleManagement conditions and share of different transport equipment with regard to annual cost of transport on farms
AutorStanisław Kokoszka, Stanisław Sęk, Sylwester Tabor
Pages23–30
Keywordsagriculture, transport, costs, management conditions
AbstractShow abstract
The effect of managing and share of means of different kind transport on the annual cost of transport in selected farms of Malopolska region has been determined. Among others, the reduction of transport operations cost has been revealed, resulting from the increase in buildings area and sales of production, as well as due to an increased share of vehicles of higher load capacity, including trucks.

TitleQualitative and economical aspects of establishing and maintaining lawns in agrotourist farms
AutorMaciej Kuboń, Adam Radkowski
Pages31–37
Keywordspark-type use, relax, generał appearance, sod formation, overwintering, leaf colour, leaf structure, susceptibility to diseases, costs
AbstractShow abstract
The study was conducted on the premises of Experimental Station for Variety Assessment in Pawłowice near Gliwice. In the study, two types of lawn usage were assessed: the extensive one „park” and moderately intensive „relax”. In the „park” –type use, the expenses related to establishment and maintenance of a lawn are 50% lower. In the moderately intensive use better results are obtained for the following characteristics: generał appearance 40%, sod formation 21%, leaf colour 81%, lower susceptibility to diseases 26% when compared to extensive use. However, the cost of establishment of a lawn in the „relax”-type use is 4.5 times higher than with „park”, and maintenance costs are twice as high.

TitleEvaluation of traction properties of tyres on selected forests’ roads
AutorWłodzimierz Białczyk, Anna Cudzik, Jarosław Czarnecki, Krzysztof Pieczarka
Pages39–50
Keywordstraction forces, wheel, forest roads
AbstractShow abstract
This paper presents the result of research on traction properties generated by different types of tyres on forest roads. There was different trees species and surfaces of the road: hardened by gravel and crushed stone. Research showed that the highest traction force was generated by the tyre 5.00-10 on crushed stone surface (604 N). Among grass type of tyres the highest traction forces were achieved for 18×9.5-8 on the same type of road (563 N). The most effective way to improve the traction force was to increase vertical load of the tyres. Highest values of the coefficient of adhesion were enumerated for drive wheel than it was for grass type tyres. Values of this parameter were depended on the road type. The experiment showed that using modifications sampled wheels achieved much highest traction force and coefficient of adhesion. The highest traction efficiency has modifieded carriage able on the gravel hardened road. For the tyre 5.00-10 traction efficiency was 82% and for 18×9.5-8 was 75%.

TitleApplication of linear index to evaluation of ploughshares wearability
AutorPiotr Kostencki
Pages51–66
Keywordsploughshares, wear and durability indexes
AbstractShow abstract
At great variety of ploughshares construction there is a lack of reliable indexes to comparing their wear resistance. It was proved that the results of estimation using the parameter created on the ground of change in a contour and durability of parts are more precise than these results obtained using the unit mass wear, i.e. the index including both the loss of mass and durability of ploughshares. It was found that the results of estimation obtained with the use of both mentioned indexes differ even 1.8 times. Reason arises from the different wearing process of ploughshares following working conditions and constructional features that influence differences in absolute mass wear of ploughshares.

TitleSome biological effects of static loads of a single hulled and husky barley grain
AutorUrszula Sadowska
Pages67–73
Keywordshulled barley, husky barley, immediate crushing, strength, biological value of grain
AbstractShow abstract
The experiment was carried out in 2001–2003 at Mydlniki near Cracow. The aim of the study was to determinate an immediate crushing strength of grain by measuring the force within microdamage range. The grains of Rastik, hulled barley and Bies, husky barley (from the experimental field with different seed rates) were analyzed. Damaged grains were germinated then initial and final germination capacity were calculated. Biological value of damaged and undamaged grains was compared. Hulled barley was characterized by lower grain resistance to damages in comparison with husky barley regardless the different seed rates. Lower values of initial and final germination capacity as the result mechanical grain damages were stated.

TitleThermo-physical characteristic of aerial environment in rooms with pools for the controlled fish's breeding
AutorHenryk Żelazny
Pages75–85
Keywordsbuilding for livestock, aerial environment, pools, fishes
AbstractShow abstract
The moisture is one of the most dangerous causes of building damages. It favours developmental of harmful micro-organisms, and moreover it enlarges the loss of warmth, because heat conduction of the moist air is by about 15 larger higher than dry air. The assessment of the moisture of aerial area was conducted in four rooms with pools for the controlled fish's breeding. In winter period there were measured, by the measure of microclimate, the temperature and relative moisture of air and also the tension of water steam. In computational way there were determined maximum moisture, absolute moisture and physical insufficiency of moisture. Studied objects marked by comparatively high moisture of aerial environment and very large differentiation of hygrometrical coefficients, however the absolute content of water steam in air did not cross the value noted in farms. With smaller moisture there were characterized special rooms for the controlled fish’s breeding in comparison with buildings for livestock, in which fatten was realized in adapted room.

TitleEconomic aspects of bulky feed preservation on the example of permanent and alternating grasslands
AutorMaciej Kuboń, Adam Radkowski
Pages87–92
Keywordsgrassland, technology, preservation, hay, ensilage, nutrient losses, costs
AbstractShow abstract
The work presents an analysis of four feed preservation technologies used on permanent and alternating grassland. The issues compared were hay production on grassland surf ac e and on hay dryers, and ensilages prepared in a mobile silo and in large cylindrical bales wrapped in foil. The field and laboratory tests which were carried out allowed for the losses of organic and mineral components due to the applied preservation technology and the implemented agrotechnological treatments to be determined. The computation of the harvest costs for individual feed preservation technologies was the final outcome.
